Far out Man!

A buddy of mine got tickets to the Rob Thomas concert and our dates were dressed to kill in their knee-high boots and '70's outfits. So this year instead of handing out candy, I hit the clothing resale shops, found a pair of 3" funky platform shoes and matching vintage purple stripped beltless pants, shirt and jacket and went out on the town. Fully accessorized with a fake 'hairy chest', gold chain and a shaggy wig, I was Stepping Out when I walked! At work my department had a pot luck earlier that week, so I gave outfit a trial run, along with a test of walking in the shoes. The reactions from people were killer--I wasn't recognized!! one person even asked 'Who's the new person?', then did a double take when they heard my voice. Too much fun.
