A Holiday Stand

Fourth of July Holiday, of course. I spent my company holiday off cutting, grinding and welding up a new heavy-capacity locomotive stand. Show here for reference next to the 86lbs Max "the muddy paws" black lab, this 130 lbs stand is lower to the ground than my yellow locomotive stand and can take the 1100 lbs. weight of the fully assembled Mikado locomotive.

I put my welding class skills to work and used up a bunch of old welding rod (which does go bad after a while). Don't mind the two clamps holding the bottom bar, they are temporary until the stand goes down into the basement. It won't clear the stairs with the bar installed.
