Mikado Milestone
Tonight we reached a milestone in the Mikado locomotive construction project. We finished the connecting rods, put them on the wheels and...And...It Still Rolls! Yea!
No binding or tight spots were found while moving it on the assembly stand. Which means the work we did on the frame 4 years ago, the wheels 3 years ago and recently on the rods is correct. What a good feeling.

Looking good.I bet you were jumping with joy.
Off to Newport, RI early in the morning. It is an eight hour drive. We will be back late Sunday night. Keep tracking and have a good weekend.
