Snow days
Today yet another Ice/Rain/Sleet storm rolled across the region slowing traffic to a crawl and forcing the closure of major highways. I found out that the Michelin tires I put on my truck continue to prove themselves - first handling was improved and now in this ice mix they have a lot of traction. I couldn't be a happier customer.
In the cab of the truck, things were different. The tepid air that has been coming from the heater core is now more than a nuesence, it's a problem. Crawling along this mornings traffic at 10-20 mph was not a problem keeping the windshield warm and relatively clear. Once I got up to 30+ mph the windchill at 21 degrees was too much and it started to ice over. Not good. The engine temperature is in the normal range, in the 180-190's. So why is it so cold in the cab?
