 Here's where we went.  And here's where we were in Michigan  The Southern Pacific 4449 'Daylight'  The Nickel Plate Road 765 on a runby  The Little River 110 returning from excursion service  We chased the Daylight all over the countryside - the dotted lines show where we went while following the tracks and watching the train go by.  Bud and Bill   The 765 pulls into the yard after a day of excursion service    Yes, you could get that close to the engine.  The 1225 on display  I was there!   Steam engines always bring out the crowds!    A train, a plane and a cornfield under blue skys.  Not all the little kids at the festival were small like this one in the green shirt!   The Leviathan #63, brand new from the rails on up, finished June 2009.   Little River RR #1  Viscose Company #6  Flagg Coal Co. #75  Tank engines on the turntable.  Step right up into the cab, feel the heat of the backhead and cramped quarters inside.  The three tank engines pull the big 1225 Berkshire onto the turntable in three mightly plumes of smoke and steam.
