The dog that was in my life.
This is Max. 2000 - 2011 He was with me for five years and when he passed i got the nicest letters and cards from all sorts of people. I found out he knew more people in the neighborhood, the kennal and vet than I did. I'm pretty happy I was one of his friends too.

7-Jan-2011 Max waits for me to take the picture and get back to throwing the ball. December 2010 - ready for presents! Max enjoying a warm fall afternoon. Nov 2010 Max helps me retrieve the rope fence out at the park 5-July-09. Max, Nine years old and intently watching the ball over the camera. Not all the white on his face is snow.... A snow day in January. Even with all the sunshine and reflected light, a black dog is hard to photograph. Halloween 2008 - a reluctant Max refuses to guard the candy dish or pose for a picture! The center of attention in the middle of our road crossing at the track. ?Where is the most comfortable place to lay down? Wherever and whenever I am working, like this road crossing. 4-Mar-08 Well, it snowed again, this time it was 10.5 inches in six hours. A whole lotta snow in a small amount of time. Almost enough snow to drag your belly on if you are Max, who is waiting for the ball to be thrown. 1-Feb-08 Max on a bright, fresh snowy day. 1-Feb-08 When it comes to snow, no one is more excited than Max. Can't you see it in his eyes? I can't either. I don't think he even noticed there was snow on the ground, except that it hides his ball when thrown in it. I have no idea why he is resting his head on the step. 20-Jan-07 After a hard day of playing in the park, Max sleeps soundly. 5-Jan-06 Max gets ahold of a new squeek ball. A dog and his ball. Max sleeps and dreams of chasing the ball. Max, my adopted American Labrador Retriever.
