5-July-09 Holiday weekend. I spend my time off fabricating a lower (28") and higher capacity locomotive stand for the Mikado to be assembled on. Shown for scale next to the 90 lbs. Labrador Retriever, the 8" metal casters make it roll easy and the heavy 3x5 C-channel can take the weight. I really enjoyed putting the welding skills I spent the winter learning to use.
