11-May-10 Here is the fire pan baking on the grill. I thought the fiber re-inforced refractory cement would air dry, but this morning I found it uncured and worse, rusting the metal it was touching. Not happy. After work I turned the grill on low to 'set' the cement. I needed to hold 100 degrees for 2 or 3 (or maybe 8) hours, then 'cure' it at some high temperature (800-1200 degrees). I don't really know because this cement was given to me in a plastic baggie from someone else.
