With the flange hole to the proper size, it is outside for some welding. Using a temporary table setup, and dodging the raindrops (not a good mix with an AC stick welder) I manage to get the 20 year old 6013 rod to light and put down some beads. It doesn't look pretty with all the flux on it now, but after some cleaning and grinding back to the curved profile, the shroud is now one piece.
