27-May-09 After rolling the shroud flange the 2" hole was not 2" anymore --the hole is oval shaped and it needs to be cut at an angle. After considering several options and ruling them because I lack a tilting rotary table, we decide to tilt the head over the 23 degrees to bore the hole. This is the first time I have deliberately tilted the head! Maybe because of the Tru-Trace roots of my Bridgeport and the "hammerhead" style of a ram, my head mount does not have any angle markings stamped on it, so I use the protractor and rule to set the angle.
