Drilling the holes in the sheet metal really calls for a drill press, not a mill. Since my 1930's era Barnes 14" drill press is still waiting upstairs in the garage to come down into the shop, and thus not hooked up for use, I grab the round table off it and clamp it in the vise on the mill. With a generous center hole and big clamping surface, we easily make some holes.
I nested the jackets layout to optimize sheetmetal use. Unfortunately, my little 6x12 bandsaw does not have enought throat opening for a piece this size, I have to wait until another day to go over to friend Joel P's shop and use his big Rockwell which made quick work of job.
